welcome to the modern!

elevator is a private smut-friendly gpsl taking place at ⭐ the modern luxury apartment building located in seattle, washington. we are based on the short-lived gpsl exclusive. we are semi organic and as mentioned in the mod post, we will pick your floor (this gpsl covers 2 - 3 floors only), room and (if chosen, pre exisiting lines are now allowed for incoming members and their roommate) roommate and then you (or you and your roommate together) can pick a floorplan from the apartment website. since rp is an interaction based hobby, that is where our goals lie (interaction!) we are looking for members who are outgoing and enthusiastic about commenting around and interacting with the entire gpsl. most community storylines should be built through commenting around the fp, dating apps, fos and more. we will host occasional activities and encourage members to do so as well. ooc planning is more than fine so long as you're plotting something that is going on vs. a specific past storyline (exes, etc). we've said it already but we feel it's worth repeating: we are a very smut-friendly gpsl and unapologetically so! not everything has to be smut here 24/7, we do want to see your characters grow and develop over time and go through life's ups and downs but smut is one of the bigger themes we have here. we welcome ic drama, jealousies and over the top character reactions so long as things play out in a mature manner. we know that this is not everyone's thing, so please keep this in mind if you choose to apply.

the rules!

⭐ use an ooc journal and post an ic and ooc post. your ooc post needs a 100 word blurb about your character alongside their basic facts. please use up to date layouts/icons. please make sure to backdate your entries. ⭐ update once a month with whatever you want during the month. we want this community to be pretty easy to mod so really, you can update with anything as long as there's some visible effort, one sentence posts won't really cut it. what really matters is that you're interacting and being present but we also want you to explore your character and their lines. no wire is allowed. we want a moving friend's page, and we are hoping to avoid anyone breaking up into cliques or disappearing solely into customs. ⭐ rules regarding rejected applications: this is a very dynamic and active psl, and it's well established. we reserve the right to reject anyone we feel will not be a good addition to the gpsl or anyone who did not follow all of the requirements. inquires about rejections will not be answered. ⭐ we are a semi unique place with people coming and going, and as such our rules could be ever changing according to what we (and the members) believe will work best for us as a whole. ⭐ nsfw rules goes as follows: this is a smut-friendly community so smut related content is expected to be on the fp. that doesn't mean there aren't lines. do not post pornographic images/gifs on the fp and do not post any content that may express violence or anything non-consensual. do not send any sexual images/gifs, links to sexual toys or anything of the sort to anyone in customs without their consent. ⭐ do not be a creep, weirdo or sex pest. as a private gpsl we reserve the right to remove anyone for any reason. members harassing each other, blurring ic/ooc lines or otherwise causing blurry problems will be removed. ⭐ these rules are always subject to change. we are always improving, learning, and taking constructive criticism. we as mods are only as good as our members, and we take your voice into consideration when doing anything because we are so tight knit and small.
